കോട്ടയം: തീക്കോയി ഗവൺമെന്റ് ടെക്നിക്കൽ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിന് 8.5 കോടി രൂപാ ചെലവിട്ടു നിർമിച്ച കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം വ്യാഴാഴ്ച( മേയ് 29) ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞു രണ്ടുമണിക്കു ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ-സാമൂഹ്യ നീതി വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ഡോ. ആർ. ബിന്ദു നിർവഹിക്കും. ചടങ്ങിൽ അഡ്വ. സെബാസ്റ്റ്യൻ കുളത്തുങ്കൽ എം.എൽ.എ. അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിക്കും. ആന്റോ ആന്റണി എം.പി. മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തും.
സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റു വഴി സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ അനുവദിച്ച 7.5 കോടി രൂപയും അഡ്വ. സെബാസ്റ്റ്യൻ കുളത്തുങ്കൽ എം.എൽ.എയുടെ ആസ്തി വികസന ഫണ്ടിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരുകോടി രൂപയും ചെലവിട്ടാണ് പുതിയ കെട്ടിടം നിർമിച്ചത്. പൂഞ്ഞാർ നിയോജക മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ ഏക ടെക്‌നിക്കൽ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളായ തീക്കോയി ഗവൺമെന്റ് ടെക്നിക്കൽ ഹൈസ്‌കൂൾ നാലു പതിറ്റാണ്ടായി തീക്കോയി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ വാടക കെട്ടിടത്തിലാണ് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ട നഗരസഭയിൽ ആനിയിളപ്പിൽ വാങ്ങിയ 2.5 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലത്താണു സ്‌കൂൾ കെട്ടിടം നിർമിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.
