കേന്ദ്ര സൂക്ഷ്‌മ, ചെറുകിട, ഇടത്തരം മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് കീഴിലുള്ള ഖാദി ഗ്രാമ വ്യവസായ കമ്മീഷൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ തൊഴിൽ ദായക പദ്ധതി (പിഎംഇജിപി) പ്രകാരം 8794 ഗുണഭോക്താക്കൾക്ക് 300 കോടി രൂപയുടെ മാർജിൻ മണി സബ്‌സിഡി വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. മുംബൈയിലെ ഇർല റോഡിലുള്ള കെവിഐസി കേന്ദ്ര കാര്യാലയത്തിൽ നടന്ന പരിപാടിയിൽ കെവിഐസി ചെയർമാൻ ശ്രീ മനോജ് കുമാർ ഓൺലൈൻ വഴിയാണ് ഗുണഭോക്താക്കൾക്ക് സബ്‌സിഡി വിതരണം ചെയ്‌തത്. രാജ്യത്തെ ആറ് മേഖലകളും ഈ സബ്‌സിഡി വിതരണ പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ആകെ 2445 പദ്ധതികൾക്ക് അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു, ഇതിൽ ദക്ഷിണ മേഖലയിലെ കേരളം, പുതുച്ചേരി, തമിഴ്‌നാട്, കർണാടക, തെലങ്കാന, ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് 80.26 കോടി രൂപ സബ്‌സിഡി വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.

പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ ദീർഘവീക്ഷണത്താലും മാർഗനിർദേശത്താലും പിഎംഇജിപി പദ്ധതി നിലവിൽ രാജ്യത്ത് പുതിയ സ്വയം തൊഴിൽ സംരംഭങ്ങൾക്ക് ശക്തവും ഫലപ്രദവുമായ അടിത്തറ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുവെന്ന് ശ്രീ മനോജ് കുമാർ പറഞ്ഞു. ഖാദി, ഗ്രാമ വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ ഇന്ന് വെറുമൊരു ഉൽപ്പന്നം മാത്രമല്ല, ആത്മനിർഭർ ഭാരതിന്റെ ദർശനത്തിന്റെ സാക്ഷാത്കാരമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ഈ പദ്ധതി ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് തൊഴിൽരഹിതരായ യുവജനങ്ങൾക്ക് തൊഴിൽ നൽകുക മാത്രമല്ല, സംരംഭകത്വത്തിന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ ശക്തി അവരെ ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്‌തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും കെവിഐസി ചെയർമാൻ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.
