കേന്ദ്ര വാണിജ്യ, വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് കീഴിലെ റബ്ബർബോർഡിൽ നടന്ന വിജിലൻസ് അവബോധവാരാചരണത്തിൻ്റെ സമാപനച്ചടങ്ങിൽ കോട്ടയം പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്റ്റ് ആൻ്റ് സെഷൻസ് ജഡ്‌ജ് ശ്രീ മനോജ് എം. മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. അഴിമതി, വികസ്വര സമ്പദ് വ്യവസ്ഥയെ പ്രതികൂലമായി ബാധിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും അത് ഭരണഘടനയുടെ ആമുഖത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയ മൂല്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യതിചലിക്കുന്നതാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. അഴിമതി ആരംഭിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവകാശങ്ങൾ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു എന്നും കൈക്കൂലി മാത്രമല്ല, ഫണ്ട് ദുർവിനിയോഗം, മോശം പെരുമാറ്റം, സ്വജനപക്ഷപാതം, അനാചാരങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയും അഴിമതിയിലേക്കാണ് നയിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ഇവ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളെ ദുർബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. 

വിജിലൻസ് അവബോധവാരാചരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി, റബ്ബർബോർഡ് കോട്ടയത്തെ വിവിധ സ്‌കൂളുകളിലെയും കോളജുകളിലെയും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും ബോർഡിലെ ജീവനക്കാർക്കും വേണ്ടി നടത്തിയ മത്സരങ്ങളിലെ വിജയികൾക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം സമ്മാനങ്ങൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.  റബ്ബർബോർഡ് എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടർ ശ്രീ എം. വസന്തഗേശൻ സ്വാ​ഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. അഴിമതിക്കെതിരായ  

പോരാട്ടം  ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയിലും ആരംഭിക്കേണ്ടതാണെന്നും അത് ഒരു പൊതു ഉത്തരവാദിത്തമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. റബ്ബർബോർഡ്  അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് വിജിലൻസ് ഓഫീസർ ശ്രീമതി ശ്രീവിദ്യ പി. നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു.

അഴിമതിക്കെതിരെ പൊതുജന അവബോധം വളർത്താനും പൊതുജീവിതത്തിൽ സമഗ്രത പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാനുമായി, സെൻട്രൽ വിജിലൻസ് കമ്മീഷൻ്റെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം, ഒക്ടോബർ 27 മുതൽ നവംബർ 02 വരെയാണ് വിജിലൻസ് അവബോധവാരം -2025 ആചരിച്ചത്. സെൻട്രൽ വിജിലൻസ് കമ്മീഷന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ, ഒരാഴ്ച്ച നീണ്ടുനിന്ന ഈ പരിപാടി സമഗ്രതാപ്രതിജ്ഞയെടുക്കൽ, ബോധനപരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കൽ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലൂടെ എല്ലാവരെയും അഴിമതിക്കെതിരെ പോരാടാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
