ഹ്രസ്വകാല , ദീര്‍ഘകാല ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി വിദേശ നാണ്യ ശേഖരം ഓരോ രാജ്യത്തിനും വേണം. ഇതിന് ഭാരതം, ഏതുസമയത്തും മാറി ഡോളറാക്കന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന യുഎസ് കടപ്പത്രങ്ങളാണ് ശേഖരിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഇത് കുറച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരാനാണ് ആര്‍ബിഐ ശ്രമം തുടങ്ങിയത് പകരം സ്വര്‍ണ്ണത്തിന്റെ ശേഖരമാണ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ടൈംസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തു. ഡോളറിനും അപ്പുറമുള്ള വൈവിധ്യ വല്‍ക്കരണത്തിലേക്കാണ്ഭാരതം തിരിയുന്നത്. വിദേശനാണ്യ ശേഖരത്തില്‍ 2024 ജൂണ്‍ 28ന് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് 840.76 മെട്രിക് ടണ്‍ സ്വര്‍ണ്ണമായിരുന്നു. അത് ഇപ്പോള്‍ 879.98 മെട്രിക് ടണ്‍ ആയി. യുഎസ് ട്രഷറി ബില്ലില്‍ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നത് കുത്തനെ കുറഞ്ഞതായി എക്കണോമിക് ടൈംസും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തു..യുഎസ് ട്രഷറി ബില്ലില്‍ 20 രാജ്യങ്ങളാണ് പ്രധാന നിക്ഷേപകര്‍. പട്ടികയില്‍ സൗദി അറേബ്യയ്‌ക്കും ജര്‍മ്മനിക്കും മുകളിലാണ് ഭാരതം. കഴിഞ്ഞ ജൂണില്‍ 242 ബില്ല്യന്‍ ഡോളറായിരുന്നു യുഎസ് ട്രഷറി ബില്ലില്‍ ഭാരതത്തിനുള്ള നിക്ഷേപം. അത് ഈ ജൂണ്‍ ആയപ്പോഴേക്കാം 227 ബില്ല്യണായി കുറഞ്ഞു. ആഗോളതലത്തില്‍ തന്നെ യുഎസ് ട്രഷറി നിക്ഷേപത്തിലുള്ള ആകര്‍ഷണം കുറഞ്ഞുവരികയാണ്. ഓരോ രാജ്യവും വിദേശ നിക്ഷേപത്തില്‍ വൈവിധ്യവക്കരണം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തുടങ്ങിയതന്നാണ് സൂചന. തീരുവകളും വാണിജ്യ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളും ഭൗമരാഷ്‌ട്രീയ സംഘര്‍ഷങ്ങളുമാണ് കാരണം.
