തിരുവനന്തപുരം : സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ക്യാൻസർ രോഗികൾ വർധിച്ചുവരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പ്രാരംഭ രോഗ നിർണയത്തിനും പരിചരണത്തിനും ബജറ്റിൽ വലിയ പരിഗണന നൽകി. മലബാർ ക്യാൻസർ സെന്ററിന് 35 കോടി രൂപയും കൊച്ചി ക്യാൻസർ സെൻന്ററിന് 18 കോടി രൂപയും ആർ.സി.സിക്ക് 75 കോടി രൂപയും മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ്, ജില്ല-താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രികൾ വഴിയുള്ള ക്യാൻസർ ചികിത്സക്ക് 24.5 കോടി രൂപയും ഉൾപ്പെടെ ആകെ 152.50 കോടി രൂപ ക്യാൻസർ രോഗ നിർണയത്തിനും ചികിത്സക്കുമായി ബജറ്റിൽ വകയിരുത്തി.
തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആർ.സി.സിയിലെ സ്ഥലപരിമിതി പരിഗണിച്ച് അത്യാധുനിക സംവിധാനങ്ങളോട് കൂടിയ ചികിത്സ രോഗികൾക്ക് ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനായി കൂടുതൽ സൗകര്യ പ്രദമായി 14 നിലയിൽ നിർമിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന 2.75 ലക്ഷം ചതുരശ്ര അടി വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള പുതിയ ബ്ലോക്കിൻറെ നിർമാണ പൂർത്തീകരണത്തിനായി 28 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തി.നേരത്തേയുള്ള കാൻസർ രോഗ നിർണയത്തിനും ചികിത്സക്കുമുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി 23.30 കോടി രൂപയും കാൻസർ രോഗികളായ സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും കുട്ടികൾക്കും മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട പരിചരണ സേവനങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിനായി 22 കോടി രൂപയും ആർ.സി.സി യുടെ പദ്ധതി വിഹിതത്തിൽ നിന്നും നീക്കിവെച്ചു. കേരള ആരോഗ്യ സർവകലാശാലയുടെ പ്രവർത്തന ങ്ങൾക്കായി 11.5 കോടി രൂപയും ബജറ്റിൽ വകയിരുത്തി.
സർക്കാരിന് കീഴിലുള്ള എല്ലാ ആശുപത്രികളേയും മാതൃകാ കാൻസർ പരിചരണ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളാക്കി പരിവർത്തനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള പദ്ധതിക്കായി 2.50 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തി. കരിമണൽ മേഖലയായ ചവറയിലെ സർക്കാർ ആശുപത്രിയിലും ക്യാൻസർ ചികിത്സാ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ വർധിപ്പിക്കും
