കൊച്ചി മട്ടാഞ്ചേരി സ്വദേശിയായ വ്യവസായിയുടെ 10 ലക്ഷം രൂപ സൈബർ തട്ടിപ്പിലൂടെ കവർന്ന പ്രതി ധീരജ് ഗിരിയെ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിൽ നിന്നും മട്ടാഞ്ചേരി പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.2024 ഒക്ടോബർ 31നാണ് വ്യവസായി തട്ടിപ്പിനിരയായത്. ഫോണിലെ സാമൂഹ്യ മാധ്യമ അക്കൗണ്ടിലേക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രമുഖ ബാങ്കിൻ്റെ പേരിലുള്ള ആധാർ അപ്ഡേഷൻ മെസ്സേജിനൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന എ.പി.കെ ഫയലിലൂടെയാണ് തട്ടിപ്പിന് തുടക്കം. ഇതിൻ്റെ ലിങ്ക് പരാതിക്കാരൻ തുറന്നതിനെ തുടർന്ന് 10 ലക്ഷം രൂപ നഷ്ടമായി.പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ 39 അക്കൗണ്ടുകളിലേക്കായി 41 ഇടപാടുകളിലൂടെയാണ് 10 ലക്ഷം രൂപ തട്ടിയെടുത്തതെന്ന് വ്യക്തമായി. കൊച്ചി സിറ്റി സൈബർ സെല്ലിന്റെയും സൈബർ ഡോമിന്റെയും ഇന്ത്യൻ സൈബർ ക്രൈം കോഡിനേഷൻ സെന്ററിന്റെയും സഹായത്തോടെയാണ് എ.പി.കെ ഫയൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ആളെ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. തുടർന്ന് ഗൂഗിളിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ ഫയൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ആളുടെ വിവരങ്ങൾ ശരിയാണെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തി. ഗൂഗിൾ നൽകിയ ഫോൺ നമ്പർ, ഇമെയിൽ ഐഡി, ഐപി അഡ്രസ് തുടങ്ങിയവ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചായിരുന്നു തുടർന്നുള്ള അന്വേഷണം. രണ്ടര മാസം നീണ്ട അന്വേഷണത്തിനൊടുവിൽ പ്രതിയുടെ വിവരങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചെങ്കിലും പിടികൂടുക എന്നത് വെല്ലുവിളിയായി. ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ഗ്രേറ്റർ നായിഡ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് 5000 കുടുംബങ്ങൾ തിങ്ങി താമസിക്കുന്ന എക്കോ വില്ലേജ് എന്ന വമ്പൻ ഫ്ലാറ്റ് സമുച്ചയത്തിലാണ് പ്രതി കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. മട്ടാഞ്ചേരി പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി മണിക്കൂറുകൾ നീണ്ട തിരച്ചിലിലയുടെയാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്.പ്രതിയുടെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നും 20 ഓളം ബാങ്ക് പാസ് ബുക്കുകളും നിരവധി എടിഎം കാർഡുകളും ചെക്ക് ബുക്കുകളും വിവിധ ആളുകളുടെ പേരിലുള്ള പാൻ കാർഡുകളും ആധാർ കാർഡുകളും ആറോളം വിലകൂടിയ മൊബൈൽ ഫോണുകളും നിരവധി സിം കാർഡുകളും കണ്ടെടുത്തു. സൈബർ തട്ടിപ്പ് വഴി ലഭിക്കുന്ന തുക ഫ്ലാറ്റും ആഡംബര കാറുകളും വാങ്ങി ആർഭാട ജീവിതം നയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു പ്രതി ധീരജ് ഗിരി.കൊച്ചി സിറ്റി പോലീസ് കമ്മീഷണർ പുട്ട വിമലാദിത്യയുടെ നിർദ്ദേശാനുസരണം ഡിസിപിമാരായ ജുവനപുടി മഹേഷ്, അശ്വതി ജിജി എന്നിവരുടെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ മട്ടാഞ്ചേരി പോലീസ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ ഷിബിൻ കെ. എയുടെയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ ജിമ്മി ജോസ് സീനിയർ സിവിൽപോലീസ് ഓഫീസർമാരായ എഡ്വിൻ റോസ്, സുബിത് കുമാർ സി, ധനീഷ് വി ഡി, സി.പി.ഒ ഫെബിൻ കെ.എസ് എന്നിവർ അടങ്ങിയ അന്വേഷണസംഘമാണ് ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ നോയിഡയിൽ നിന്നും അതിസാഹസികമായി പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്
