പിണ്ണാക്കനാട്: കേന്ദ്ര വന്യജീവി സംരക്ഷണ നിയമം അടിയന്തരമായി ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്തില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ജീവിക്കുവാനുള്ള മലയോര ജനതയുടെ അവകാശ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനായുള്ള കര്‍ഷക പ്രക്ഷോഭം കേരളത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലേക്കും വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് കേരള കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-എം ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ ജോസ് കെ. മാണി എംപി.
ഈ ആവശ്യം ഉന്നയിച്ച് 27ന് കേരള കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-എം എംഎല്‍എമാരും പാര്‍ട്ടി സ്റ്റിയറിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങളും ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ ധര്‍ണ നടത്തും. 1972 ലെ വന്യജീവി സംരക്ഷണ നിയമം ഭേദഗതി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ നടത്തുന്ന ധര്‍ണയുടെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള്‍ വിശദീകരിച്ച് കേരള കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-എം ജില്ലാ കമ്മിറ്റി രണ്ടു ദിവസങ്ങളിലായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജനകീയ യാത്ര ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് പ്രസംഗിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.

പിണ്ണാക്കനാട് നിന്നും ആരംഭിച്ച ജനകീയ യാത്രയുടെ ആദ്യദിന പര്യടനം പൂഞ്ഞാര്‍ ടൗണില്‍ സമാപിച്ചു. സമാപന സമ്മേളനം ജോബ് മൈക്കിള്‍ എംഎല്‍എ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ ഒന്‍പതിന് കൂട്ടിക്കലില്‍ ചീഫ് വിപ്പ് എന്‍. ജയരാജ് ജനകീയ യാത്രയുടെ രണ്ടാംദിന പര്യടനം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. വൈകുന്നേരം ആറിന് മടുക്കയില്‍ സമാപന സമ്മേളനം പ്രമോദ് നാരായണന്‍ എംഎല്‍എ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും
