എരുമേലി.. മണ്ഡല മകരവിളക്ക് കാലത്ത് ജില്ലയിലെ 11 ഇടാത്താവളങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാന സ്ഥലമായ എരുമേലിയിലെ പ്രധാന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥല പരിചയമുള്ളവരെ മാത്രമേ ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്ക് നിയോഗിക്കകയുയുള്ളുവെന്ന് കോട്ടയം ജില്ലാ പോലീസ് മേധാവി ഷാഹുൽ ഹമീദ്. എരുമേലി പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ കോൺഫറൻസ് ഹാളിൽ വിളിച്ചു ചേർത്ത വിവിധ വകുപ്പ് തല യോഗത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. സ്ഥലപരിചയമില്ലാത്ത ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ ഗതാഗത നിയന്ത്രണത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം നിയോഗിച്ചത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഏറെ പരാതികൾ ഉയർന്നിരുന്നു.പൊൻകുന്നം കെ വി  എം എസ് ജംഗ്ഷൻ, ഇരുപത്താറാം യിൽ, വാഴക്കാല, എം ഈ എസ് ജംഗ്ഷൻ, പ്രൊപ്പോസ്, കണ്ണിമല എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥലപരിചയമുള്ള ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ നിയമിക്കുന്നതിന് കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളി ഡി വൈ എസ് പിയെ ചുമതലപ്പെടുത്തി.

പാർക്കിംഗ് മൈതാനങ്ങൾ, കടവുകൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ മഫ്തിയിൽ പോലീസിനെ നിയമിക്കും.ജോലിയുടെ പ്രാധാന്യം അനുസരിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ വിവിധസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ നിയമിക്കും.500 പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്കുണ്ടാവും. സ്ഥിരം അപകടമേഖലയിൽ പ്രത്യേക ശ്രദ്ധ ഉണ്ടാവും. കോൺവോയ് അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ മാത്രമേ വാഹനങ്ങൾ കടത്തിവിടു. ഡ്രൈവർമാർക് വിശ്രമം, കാപ്പി എന്നിവക്ക് സംവിധാനം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തും.തിരക്ക് ഏറുമ്പോൾ മാറ്റിടത്താവളങ്ങൾ, സ്കൂൾ കോളേജ് മൈതാനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിക്കും.ട്രാഫിക് നിയന്ത്രണത്തിന് താത്കാലികമായി എടുക്കുന്നവരെ തനിയെ  നിയമിക്കില്ല. യൂണിഫോം ഉള്ളവരും ഇവർക്കൊപ്പമുണ്ടാകും.
