കോട്ടയം: പാലക്കാട് അട്ടപ്പാടി നെല്ലിപ്പതിയിൽ അജ്ഞാത വാഹനമിടിച്ച് റോഡരികിലൂടെ നടന്നു പോകുകയായിരുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥിക്ക് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. കോട്ടയം മണിമല പൊന്തൻപുഴ സ്വദേശിയായ കൊച്ചിടശ്ശേരിൽ ജോർജ്ജി എബ്രഹാം(25) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.
പാലക്കാട് മണ്ണാർക്കാട് അട്ടപ്പാടി നെല്ലിപ്പതി ഗൂളിക്കടവ് റോഡിൽ ബോധമില്ലാതെ കിടക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടു ജോർജ്ജിയെ നാട്ടുകാർ അഗളി ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ എത്തിച്ചപ്പോഴേക്കും മരണം സംഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു. വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ ഇടിച്ച ശേഷം കടന്നു കളഞ്ഞ വാഹനം ഇതുവരെ കണ്ടെത്താനായിട്ടില്ല.
അമൃത വിശ്വവിദ്യാ പീഠത്തിലെ രണ്ടാം വർഷ എംഎസ്ഡബ്ള്യു വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയായിരുന്നു. വിവരമറിഞ്ഞു ബന്ധുക്കൾ സംഭവ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
