ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി : നിയമസഭ പാസാക്കുന്ന ബില്ലുകളിൽ ഗവർണർ തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുന്നത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് സുപ്രധാന നിർദേശവുമായി സുപ്രീം കോടതി. ബില്ലുകൾ പിടിച്ചുവയ്ക്കാന്‍ ഗവര്‍ണര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് അധികാരമില്ലെന്ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. തമിഴ്‌നാട് നിയമസഭ പാസാക്കിയ ബില്ലുകള്‍ തടഞ്ഞുവെച്ച ഗവര്‍ണറുടെ നടപടി ഭരണഘടനാ വിരുദ്ധമെന്നും സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിമര്‍ശിച്ചു.ബില്ലുകള്‍ക്ക് അംഗീകാരം നല്‍കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ ഒരു മാസത്തിനകം തീരുമാനമെടുക്കണം. ബില്ലുകള്‍ രാഷ്ട്രപതിക്ക് അയക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലോ തിരിച്ചയക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലോ അത് മൂന്നു മാസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ചെയ്യണമെന്നും കോടതി നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു. ബില്ലുകള്‍ പിടിച്ചുവെയ്ക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഒരു വീറ്റോ അധികാരവും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഭരണഘടന ഗവര്‍ണര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിയിട്ടില്ലെന്നും സുപ്രീം കോടതി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
