തിരുവനന്തപുരം : സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ 5 ആശുപത്രികൾക്ക് കൂടി നാഷണൽ ക്വാളിറ്റി അഷുറൻസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡേർഡ്സ് (എൻ.ക്യു.എ.എസ്.) അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചതായി ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർജ്. 4 ആശുപത്രികൾക്ക് പുതുതായി അംഗീകാരവും ഒരു ആശുപത്രിയ്ക്ക് പുന:അംഗീകാരവുമാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. ഇതോടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ആകെ 216 ആരോഗ്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കാണ് എൻ.ക്യു.എ.എസ്. സർട്ടിഫിക്കേഷൻ ലഭിച്ചത്. ആരോഗ്യ മേഖലയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന വികസന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള അംഗീകാരമാണ് തുടർച്ചയായി നമ്മുടെ സർക്കാർ ആശുപത്രികളെ ദേശീയ ഗുണനിലവാരത്തിലേക്ക് കേന്ദ്രം ഉയർത്തുന്നത്. കൂടുതൽ ആശുപത്രികളെ എൻ.ക്യു.എ.എസ്. നിലവാരത്തിലേക്ക് ഉയർത്താനുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടന്നു വരുന്നതായും മന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ 5 ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രികൾ, 5 താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രികൾ, 11 സാമൂഹികാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ, 43 അർബൻ പ്രൈമറി ഹെൽത്ത് സെന്ററുകൾ, 148 കുടുംബാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ, 4 ജനകീയ ആരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ എൻ.ക്യു.എ.എസ്. അംഗീകാരം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
