കോട്ടയം: ഡിജിറ്റൽ സർവേ പൂർത്തീകരിച്ച ജില്ലയിലെ ആദ്യ വില്ലേജെന്ന ഖ്യാതി വൈക്കം താലൂക്കിലെ ഉദയനാപുരത്തിന്.

ഭൂവുടമകൾക്ക് കൃത്യമായ ഭൂരേഖകൾ ലഭ്യമാക്കാൻ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടു സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന ഡിജിറ്റൽ സർവേ നടപടികൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ  മൂന്നാമത്തെ വില്ലേജും ഉദയനാപുരമാണ്. 2023 ഫെബ്രുവരിയിലാണ് ഉദയനാപുരത്ത് സർവേ തുടങ്ങിയത്. ചങ്ങനാശേരി താലൂക്കിലെ തോട്ടയ്ക്കാട്, പായിപ്പാട് വില്ലേജുകളിൽ അടുത്ത മാസത്തോടെ സർവേ പൂർത്തിയാക്കി പുതിയ ഭൂമിരേഖകൾ റവന്യൂവകുപ്പിനു കൈമാറും.

 ആദ്യ മൂന്നുഘട്ടങ്ങളിലായി 32 വില്ലേജിലെ 46713.6 ഹെക്ടർ ഭൂമിയുടെ സർവേ ഇതിനോടകം പൂർത്തിയായി. ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തിൽ  ഉദയനാപുരം ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഒൻപതു വില്ലേജുകളാണുള്ളത്. രണ്ടും മൂന്നും ഘട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ യഥാക്രമം പതിമൂ ന്നും പത്തും വില്ലേജുകളും.
