കോട്ടയം: ടി ആർ രഘുനാഥനെ സിപിഐ എം കോട്ടയം ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറിയായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. മുൻ ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി എ വി റസലിന്റെ നിര്യാണത്തെ തുടർന്നാണ് ജില്ലാ കമ്മറ്റി യോ​ഗം പുതിയ സെക്രട്ടറിയെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. എസ്എഫ്ഐയിലൂടെ തുടങ്ങിയ സമര പോരാട്ടങ്ങളിലെ നേതൃപാടവമാണ് ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറിയുടെ പദവിയിലേക്ക് രഘുനാഥനെ എത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്

ബസേലിയസ് കോളേജ് യൂണിറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി പദവിയിൽ നിന്നായിരുന്നു തുടക്കം. പിന്നീട് ഡിവൈഎഫ്ഐ യൂണിറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി. ഡിവൈഎഫ്ഐ പുതുപ്പള്ളി ബ്ലോക്ക് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ്. അയർക്കുന്നം ബ്ലോക്ക് സെക്രട്ടറി, ജില്ലാ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ്, സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം എന്നീ നിലയിലും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

സിപിഐ എം അയർക്കുന്നം ഏരിയ സെക്രട്ടറി പദവിയായിരുന്നു അടുത്ത ദൗത്യം. തുടർന്ന് ജില്ലാ കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗമായും തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. നിലവിൽ പാർട്ടി ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് അംഗമാണ്. സിഐടിയു കോട്ടയം ജില്ല സെക്രട്ടറി, സംസ്ഥാന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡൻ്റ്, ദേശീയ വർക്കിംഗ് കമ്മറ്റി അംഗം എന്നീ നിലകളിലും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുവരുന്നു. കോട്ടയം കോ – ഓപ്പറേറ്റിങ് അർബൻ ബാങ്ക് ചെയർമാനാണ്. പള്ളം ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡൻ്റായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്വദേശം അയർക്കുന്നം അറുമാനൂർ. ഭാര്യ രഞ്ജിത, മകൻ രഞ്ജിത്ത് മരുമകൾ അർച്ചന.
