ആരോഗ്യ സേവനങ്ങൾ പൊതുജനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുന്നതിൽ ശ്രീചിത്ര തിരുനാൾ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഫോർ മെഡിക്കൽ സയൻസസ് ആന്റ് ടെക്നോളജി രാജ്യത്തിന് മാതൃകയാണെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ശാസ്ത്രസാങ്കേതിക-ഭൗമശാസ്ത്ര വകുപ്പ് സഹമന്ത്രി (സ്വതന്ത്ര ചുമതല) ഡോ. ജിതേന്ദ്ര സിംഗ്.പ്രധാൻ മന്ത്രി സ്വാസ്‌ത്യ സുരക്ഷാ യോജനക്ക് (പിഎംഎസ്എസ് വൈ) കീഴിൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ശ്രീചിത്രയിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച പുതിയ മന്ദിരത്തിൻ്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. പിഎംഎസ്എസ് വൈ ശ്രീചിത്രയിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കാൻ കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്മെൻ്റിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച ഘടകം ഈ പൊതുജന സമ്പർക്കമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.എല്ലാവർക്കും പ്രാപ്യമായ, താങ്ങാവുന്നതും ഗുണമേന്മയുള്ളതുമായ ചികിത്സ ലഭ്യമാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് പിഎംഎസ്എസ് വൈ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിന് മികച്ച ഉദാഹരണമാണ് ശ്രീചിത്രയുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ.തദ്ദേശീയമായ വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യവും,വിഭവങ്ങളും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടിന് അനുസൃതമായാണ് ശ്രീചിത്രയുടെ പ്രവർത്തനമെന്നും കേന്ദ്രസഹമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.ചികിത്സാ രംഗത്ത് ഗ്രാമ – നഗര വ്യത്യാസം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നതിനാണ് പിഎംഎസ്എസ് വൈ പോലുള്ള പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. ചികിത്സാ രംഗത്തും ഗവേഷണ- അക്കാദമിക്ക് രംഗത്തും വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യമായ സ്ഥാപനമാണ് ശ്രീചിത്രയെന്നും കേന്ദ്ര സഹമന്ത്രി അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.

ആരോഗ്യ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ മേഖലയിലെ വിടവ് നികത്തുകയാണ് പിഎംഎസ്എസ് വൈയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യമെന്ന് ചടങ്ങിനെ വീഡിയോ സന്ദേശത്തിലൂടെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്ത കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യ കുടുംബ ക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ ജഗത് പ്രകാശ് നദ്ദ പറഞ്ഞു.ശ്രീചിത്രയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വിപുലീകരണമാണ് പിഎംഎസ് എസ് വൈ പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാകുന്നത്തോടെ സാധ്യമാക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

ശാസ്ത്ര സാങ്കേതിക മേഖലയുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് പിഎംഎസ്എസ് വൈ നിരവധി വിജയകരമായ നടപടികൾ കൈക്കൊണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. വിവിധ ഗവണ്മെൻ്റ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജുകളിൽ എഴുപത്തിയഞ്ച് സൂപ്പർ സ്പെഷ്യാലിറ്റി ബ്ലോക്കുകൾക്ക് അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചതായും, ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനായി ₹3,000 കോടി അനുവദിച്ചതായും കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

മസ്തിഷ്ക ,ഹൃദ്രോഗ ചികിത്സ രംഗത്ത് മുൻ നിര സ്ഥാപനമാണ് ശ്രീചിത്രയെന്ന് ചടങ്ങിൽ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയായ കേന്ദ്ര പെട്രോളിയം പ്രകൃതിവാത-ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് സഹമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. സുരേഷ് ഗോപി പറഞ്ഞു. കേരളത്തിനകത്തും പുറത്തുമുള്ള പാവപ്പെട്ട രോഗികൾക്ക് ആശ്രയമാണ് ഈ സ്ഥാപനമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. നൂതനത്വത്തിലും, ആരോഗ്യ പരിപാലനത്തിലും ശ്രീചിത്ര ഉയർന്ന നിലവാരമാണ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതെന്നും കേന്ദ്ര സഹമന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.സംസ്ഥാന ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീമതി വീണാ ജോർജ്, ഡോ. ശശി തരൂർ എംപി, നിതി ആയോഗ് അംഗവും ശ്രീചിത്ര മുൻ പ്രസിഡന്റുമായ ഡോ. വി കെ സാരസ്വത്, മുൻ കേന്ദ്രസഹമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. വി. മുരളീധരൻ, കേന്ദ്ര ശാസ്ത്ര- സാങ്കേതിക വകുപ്പ് സെക്രട്ടറി പ്രൊഫ. അഭയ് കരണ്ടികർ, വാർഡ് കൗൺസിലർ ശ്രീ ഡി. ആർ. അനിൽ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.ശ്രീചിത്ര ഡയറക്ടർ ഡോ. സഞ്ജയ് ബെഹാരി സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. ബയോമെഡിക്കൽ ടെക്നോളജി വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. ഹരികൃഷ്ണ വർമ്മ നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു.

പ്രധാൻ മന്ത്രി സ്വാസ്‌ത്യ സുരക്ഷാ യോജനക്ക് കീഴിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ കെട്ടിടത്തിന് കേന്ദ്ര ശാസ്ത്ര സാങ്കേതിക വകുപ്പും കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യ കുടുംബക്ഷേമ മന്ത്രാലയവും സംയുക്തമായാണ് സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.ശ്രീചിത്രയുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലസൗകര്യ വികസനത്തിലെ നാഴികക്കല്ലാണ് പുതിയ പിഎംഎസ്എസ്‌വൈ മന്ദിരം. പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്ക് അത്യാധുനിക ചികിത്സ നൽകുന്നതിനുള്ള ശ്രീചിത്രയുടെ പരിശ്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇത് കരുത്തേകും. ഒൻപത് നിലകളിലായി നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ ആകെ വിസ്തൃതി 270000 ചതുരശ്ര അടിയാണ്. പൂർണ്ണമായും ശിതീകരിച്ച കെട്ടിടത്തിൽ തീവ്രപരിചരണ സേവനങ്ങൾക്ക് മാത്രമായി 130 കിടക്കകൾ സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതിന് പുറമെ പേവാർഡിനായി 40 മുറികളുമുണ്ട്.പൂർണ്ണമായി പ്രവർത്തനസജ്ജമാകുമ്പോൾ ഒൻപത് അത്യാധുനിക ഓപ്പറേഷൻ തീയറ്ററുകൾ, എംആർഐ & സിടി സ്‌കാൻ വിഭാഗം, മൂന്ന് കാത്ത് ലാബുകൾ, സ്ലീപ് സ്റ്റഡി യൂണിറ്റ്, എക്കോകാർഡിയോഗ്രാഫി സ്യൂട്ട്, നോൺ- ഇൻവേസീവ് കാർഡിയോളജി ഇവാല്യൂവേഷൻ സ്യൂട്ട് മുതലായവയുണ്ടാകും. രോഗികൾക്കായി വെൽനസ് സെന്റർ, കൗൺസിലിംഗ് കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ, കഫറ്റീരിയ മുതലായവയും പുതിയ കെട്ടിടത്തിൽ സജ്ജമാക്കും.
