ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി : നടിയെ ലൈംഗികപീഡനത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കിയെന്ന കേസിൽ നടന്‍ സിദ്ദിഖിന്റെ മുന്‍കൂര്‍ ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ സുപ്രീംകോടതി ഇന്ന് പരിഗണിക്കും. ജസ്റ്റിസുമാരായ ബേല എം ത്രിവേദി, സതീഷ് ചന്ദ്ര ശര്‍മ്മ എന്നിവരുടെ ബെഞ്ചാണ് ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ പരിഗണിക്കുക.
ഹേമാ കമ്മിറ്റി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് പുറത്തു വന്നതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് സിദ്ദിഖിനെതിരെ യുവനടി പീഡന പരാതിയുമായി രംഗത്ത് വന്നത്. ഇതിന് മുന്നേയും യുവനടി സിദ്ദിഖിനെതിരെ ആരോപണം ഉന്നയിച്ചിരുന്നു. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ മസ്‌കറ്റ് ഹോട്ടലില്‍ വച്ച് സിദ്ദിഖ് പീഡിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്നായിരുന്നു നടിയുടെ പരാതി. ഇത് പ്രകാരം പൊലീസ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ശിക്ഷാ നിയമത്തിലെ സെക്ഷന്‍ 376 ബലാത്സംഗം, 506 ക്രിമിനല്‍ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തല്‍ എന്നിവ പ്രകാരമുള്ള കുറ്റങ്ങള്‍ സിദ്ദിഖിനെതിരെ ചുമത്തി കേസെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
