കണ്ണൂർ : എ.ഡി.എം നവീൻ ബാബുവിന്‍റെ മരണത്തിൽ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തപ്പെട്ട് ജയിലിൽ കഴിയുന്ന കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ല പഞ്ചായത്ത് മുൻ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് പി.പി. ദിവ്യയുടെ ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷയിൽ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വിധി പറയും. ഇന്ന് തലശ്ശേരി സെഷൻസ് കോടതിയിൽ പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍റെയും നവീൻ ബാബുവിനെയും കുടുംബത്തിന്‍റെയും പ്രതിയുടെയും അഭിഭാഷകരുടെ വാദപ്രതിവാദം നടന്നു. ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷയെ എതിർത്ത് നവീൻ ബാബുവിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ മഞ്ജുഷ കേസിൽ കക്ഷി ചേർന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിശദ വാദത്തിന് ശേഷം ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ വിധി പറയാൻ മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു.അന്വേഷണവുമായി സഹകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും പൊലീസിൽ കീഴടങ്ങിയെന്നും ദിവ്യയുടെ അഭിഭാഷകൻ കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചു. തനിക്ക് തെറ്റുപറ്റിയെന്ന് നവീൻ ബാബു കലക്ടറോട് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. തെറ്റുപറ്റിയെന്ന് പറയുന്നത് പണം വാങ്ങിയതിനു തുല്യമാണ്. പമ്പ് സ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ സംരംഭകനായ പ്രശാന്ത് എ.ഡി.എമ്മിന് കൈക്കൂലി കൊടുത്തെന്ന് ഡി.എം.ഇയുടെ റിപ്പോർട്ടുണ്ട് -ദിവ്യയുടെ അഭിഭാഷകൻ വാദിച്ചു.

ദിവ്യ അന്വേഷണവുമായി സഹകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. രണ്ടു തവണ നോട്ടിസ് നൽകിയിട്ടും ഹാജരായില്ല. കലക്ടറോട് നവീൻ ബാബു കുറ്റസമ്മതം നടത്തിയെന്ന ദിവ്യയുടെ വാദം തെറ്റാണ്. മാനസിക ഐക്യം ഇല്ലാത്ത ആളോട് ആരെങ്കിലും കുറ്റസമ്മതം നടത്തുമോ? കൈക്കൂലി കൊടുത്തെങ്കിൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് പ്രശാന്തിനെതിരെ നടപടിയില്ല? -എന്ന് നവീൻ ബാബുവിന്‍റെ കുടുംബത്തിന്‍റെ അഭിഭാഷൻ വാദിച്ചു.
