നിലമ്പൂർ : ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ഡോക്ടറെ കാണാനായി കാത്തിരിക്കെ കുഞ്ഞ് മരിച്ചു. നിലമ്പൂർ ആദിവാസി ഊരായ പാലക്കയം നഗറിലെ അജിത്–സൗമ്യ ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകൾ സനോമിയ (3)യാണ് മരിച്ചത്. രാവിലെ നിലമ്പൂർ ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയിലാണ് സംഭവം. പനിയും ഛർദിയും ഉണ്ടായതിനേ തുടർന്നാണ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ വന്നത്. നിലമ്പൂർ ജില്ല ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ഡോക്ടറെ കാണാൻ കാത്തുനിൽക്കെ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയായിരുന്നു.രാവിലെ എട്ടുമണിയോടെയാണ് അജിത്തും അമ്മയും സൗമ്യയും ചേർന്ന് കുഞ്ഞിനെ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടത്. വാഹനം ലഭിക്കാത്തതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്താൻ വൈകിയിരുന്നു. പത്തുമണിയോടെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചപ്പോൾ അസ്വഭാവികത തോന്നിയ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾ കുട്ടിയെ ഉടൻ കാഷ്യാലിറ്റിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇതിനുപിന്നാലെയാണ് കുട്ടിയുടെ മരണവിവരം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
