നാലുവർഷ ബിരുദ പ്രോഗ്രാം പാഠ്യ പദ്ധതി പരിഷ്‌ക്കാരങ്ങളിലെ ഒരു സുപ്രധാന നാഴികക്കല്ലാണ് ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ് കേരള പോർട്ടലെന്ന് ഉന്നതവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ-സാമൂഹ്യനീതി മന്ത്രി ഡോ. ആർ. ബിന്ദു പറഞ്ഞു. സംസ്ഥാന ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പും ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ കൗൺസിലും (കെ.എസ്.എച്ച്.ഇ.സി) കെൽട്രോണുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് വികസിപ്പിച്ച ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ് കേരള പോർട്ടലിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രി ഡോ. ബിന്ദു.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തുടനീളമുള്ള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെയും സർവ്വകലാശാലകളെയും വ്യവസായങ്ങളെയും ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഏകീകൃത ഡിജിറ്റൽ ആവാസവ്യവസ്ഥ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് പോർട്ടൽ വികസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.  വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ് അവസരങ്ങൾ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങൾ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ഇത് വഴിയൊരുക്കും. ഉന്നതവിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനും പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ലോകത്തിനും ഇടയിലുള്ള വിടവ് നികത്തുന്നതിനും, നവീകരണം, നൈപുണ്യ വികസനം, സമഗ്ര വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം എന്നിവയോടുള്ള കേരളത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിബദ്ധത ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്നതിനുമുള്ള സുപ്രധാന ചുവടുവെയ്പ്പാണ് ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ് പോർട്ടൽ നിലവിൽ വന്നതിലൂടെ സാധ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
