കോഴിക്കോട് : സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് കൂടി അമീബിക് മസ്തിഷ്ക ജ്വരം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജിൽ ചികിത്സിയിലുള്ള 47കാരനാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.മലപ്പുറം ചേലമ്പ്ര സ്വദേശിയായ 47കാരൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഇരുപത് ദിവസമായി പനി ബാധിച്ചതിനെതുടര്‍ന്ന് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജിൽ ചികിത്സയിലാണ്. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച നടത്തിയ സ്രവ സാംപിള്‍ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
ഇയാള്‍ ഒരു മാസം മുമ്പ് കണ്ണൂരിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച പ്രദേശത്തെ 80 വാര്‍ഡുകളിൽ ക്ലോറിനേഷൻ നടത്തി.
