പത്തനംതിട്ട : നഴ്‌സിംഗ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിയുടെ മരണത്തില്‍ അന്വേഷണം നടത്താന്‍ ആരോഗ്യ മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോര്‍ജ് ആരോഗ്യ സര്‍വകലാശാലയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി. തിരുവനന്തപുരം അയിരൂ പാറ രാമപുരത്ത്ചിറ ശിവപുരം വീട്ടിൽ അമ്മു എ സജീവ് (22) ആണ്  മരിച്ചത്. ചുട്ടിപ്പാറ എസ്എംഇ നഴ്സിങ് കോളജിലെ നാലാം വർഷ വിദ്യാർഥിയായിരുന്നു.

വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി ഏഴിന് താഴെ വെട്ടിപ്പുറത്തുള്ള എൻഎസ്എസ് വനിത ഹോസ്‌റ്റലിന്റെ മൂന്നാം നിലയിൽ നിന്നാണ് അമ്മു വീണത്. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ അമ്മുവിനെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ ജനറൽ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചു. നില അതീവ ഗുരുതരമായതിനാൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയി. യാത്രാമധ്യേയാണ് മരിച്ചത്. അമ്മുവിന്റെ ഫോൺ മുറിയിൽ നിന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി. സംഭവത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ അന്വേഷണം നടന്ന് വരികയാണ്.
