രാജ്യത്തെ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളായ IITs/IIMs/IIISc/IMSc കളിൽ അഡ്മിഷൻ ലഭിച്ച ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കുളള സംസ്ഥാന ന്യൂനപക്ഷക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പിന്റെ സ്കോളര്‍ഷിപ്പിന്  ഒക്ടോബർ 31 വരെ അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. IITs/IIMs/IIISc/IMSc കോഴ്‌സുകളിൽ ഉപരി പഠനം (PG/Ph.D) നടത്തുന്ന ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട (മുസ്ലിം, ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ (എല്ലാവിഭാഗക്കാർക്കും), സിഖ്, ബുദ്ധ, ജൈന, പാഴ്‌സി) വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കാണ് സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് അനുവദിക്കുന്നത്. അനുവദിക്കുന്ന കോഴ്‌സുകൾ സംബന്ധിച്ച വിശദ വിവരം www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in ൽ ലഭ്യമാണ്. അപേക്ഷകർ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട യോഗ്യതാ പരീക്ഷയിൽ (ഡിഗ്രി/ബി.ഇ/ബി.ടെക്) 55 ശതമാനം മാർക്ക് നേടിയിരിക്കണം. ഐഐടികളിലും, ഐഐഎമ്മുകളിലും, ഐ.ഐ.എസ്.സി കളിലും രണ്ടു വർഷത്തെ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം പഠിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നാം രണ്ടാം വർഷ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. ഒന്നാം/രണ്ടാം/മൂന്നാം/നാലാം/അഞ്ചാം വർഷ IMSc വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ അർഹതയുണ്ട്. ബി.പി.എൽ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട അപേക്ഷകരെ പരിഗണിച്ചതിനുശേഷം മാത്രമേ എ.പി.എൽ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട കുടുംബ വാർഷിക വരുമാനം 8 ലക്ഷം രൂപ വരെയുളള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പരിഗണിക്കുകയുളളൂ. കേരളത്തിലെ സ്ഥിരതാമസക്കാരായ/കേരളത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കാണ് സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് അനുവദിക്കുന്നത്. 50 ശതമാനം സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്കായി സംവരണം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിശ്ചിത ശതമാനം പെൺകുട്ടികൾ ഇല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം അർഹരായ ആൺകുട്ടികളേയും സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പിന് പരിഗണിക്കും. ഒരേ കുടുംബ വാർഷിക വരുമാനം വരുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിൽ നിന്നും ഉയർന്ന മാർക്ക് നേടുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയ്ക്കായിരിക്കും സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പിന് മുൻഗണന നൽകുക. തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയ്ക്ക് കോഴ്‌സ് കാലാവധിക്കുളളിൽ 50,000 രൂപയാണ് സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് തുകയായി അനുവദിക്കുന്നത്. ഒറ്റ തവണ ലഭിക്കുന്ന സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് പദ്ധതിയാണിത്. മുൻ വർഷം വകുപ്പിൽ നിന്നും പ്രസ്തുത സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ച വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് വീണ്ടും അപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. കൂടാതെ മറ്റു വകുപ്പുകളിൽ / സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും IITs/IIMs/IIISc/IMSc എന്നീ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് അനുവദിക്കുന്ന സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ച വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ പ്രസ്തുത സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല. അപേക്ഷകർക്ക് ഏതെങ്കിലും ഷെഡ്യൂൾഡ്‌ കൊമേഴ്‌സ്യൽ ബാങ്കിൽ സ്വന്തം പേരിൽ അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
