ഈ പാക്കേജിന് കീഴിൽ, 24,736 കോടി രൂപയുടെ മൊത്തം നിക്ഷേപം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന കപ്പൽ നിർമ്മാണ സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായ പദ്ധതി (SBFAS) 2036 മാർച്ച് 31 വരെ നീട്ടും. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ കപ്പൽ നിർമ്മാണത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് ഈ പദ്ധതി ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്, കൂടാതെ 4,001 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തുന്ന ഒരു ഷിപ്പ് ബ്രേക്കിംഗ് ക്രെഡിറ്റ് നോട്ടും ഇതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. എല്ലാ സംരംഭങ്ങളുടെയും നടത്തിപ്പിന് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നതിനായി ഒരു ദേശീയ കപ്പൽ നിർമ്മാണ ദൗത്യവും സ്ഥാപിക്കും.
