തിരുവനന്തപുരം : സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്ന് അതിശക്തമായ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യത.മലപ്പുറം, കോഴിക്കോട്, വയനാട്, കണ്ണൂർ, കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലകളിലാണ് റെഡ് അലര്ട്ടുള്ളത്. അടുത്ത 24 മണിക്കൂറിൽ 204.4 മില്ലി മീറ്ററിൽ കൂടുതൽ മഴ ലഭിക്കുമെന്നാണ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്.
നാല് ജില്ലകളില് ഓറഞ്ച് അലര്ട്ടും പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. എറണാകുളം, ഇടുക്കി, തൃശൂർ, പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലകളിലാണ് ഓറഞ്ച് അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്.
മഴ മുന്നറിയിപ്പിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില് കാസര്കോട്,കണ്ണൂര്, വയനാട് ജില്ലകളിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്ക് അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. വടകര താലൂക്കിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും ഇന്ന് അവധിയാണ്. ട്യൂഷൻ സെന്ററുകൾക്കും മദ്രസകൾക്കും ഉൾപ്പെടെ അവധി ബാധകമാണ്.
