ന്യൂഡൽഹി: പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ പ്രൈവറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറിയായി ഐഎഫ്എസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥ നിധി തിവാരിയെ നിയമിച്ചു. 2014 ബാച്ച് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫോറിൻ സർവീസ് (ഐഎഫ്എസ്) ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥയായ നിധി തിവാരി നിലവിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ ഓഫിസിൽ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സെക്രട്ടറിയാണ്.
2022ല്‍ പിഎംഒയില്‍ അണ്ടര്‍ സെക്രട്ടറിയായി ചുമതലയേറ്റ നിധി, 2023 ജൂണ്‍ ആറുമുതല്‍ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സെക്രട്ടറിയായി സേവനം അനുഷ്ടിച്ചു വരികയായിരുന്നു.
വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിലെ ഡിസാംമെന്‍റ് ആന്‍ഡ് ഇന്‍റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ സെക്യൂരിറ്റി അഫയേഴ്‌സ് വിഭാഗത്തിന്‍റെ കീഴിലും നിധി സേവനം അനുഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ദേശീയ സുരക്ഷാ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവ് അജിത് ഡോവലിന് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്യേണ്ട, ഫോറിന്‍ ആന്‍ഡ് സെക്യൂരിറ്റി വിഭാഗത്തിലായിരുന്നു നിധി ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്.
