തിരുവനന്തപുരം : സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഭൂനികുതി വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. ഭൂനികുതി സ്ലാബുകളുടെ നിരക്ക് 50 ശതമാനം വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചതായി ബജറ്റ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ധനമന്ത്രി കെ എന് ബാലഗോപാല് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഇതിലൂടെ പ്രതിവര്ഷം 100 കോടി രൂപയുടെ അധിക വരുമാനമാണ് സര്ക്കാര് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്. സര്ക്കാര് ഭൂമിയുടെ പാട്ടനിരക്ക് പരിഷ്കരിക്കുമെന്നും ധനമന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു. പഞ്ചായത്തിന് കീഴിലുള്ള മേഖലകളില്8.1 ആര് വരെയുള്ള ഭൂമിയ്ക്ക് ആദ്യ സ്ലാബിലെ 7.50 രൂപ വരെയുള്ള ബാധകമാകും. 8.1 ആറിന് മുകളിലുള്ള ഭൂമിയുടെ 8 രൂപ നികുതിയെന്നത് 12 രൂപയായി വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. മുന്സിപ്പല് കൗണ്സില് പ്രദേശത്ത് 2.43 ആര് വരെയുള്ള ഭൂമിയുടെ നിരക്ക് 10 രൂപയില് നിന്ന് 15 രൂപയിലേക്ക് ഉയര്ത്തി. കോര്പറേഷന് പരിധിയില് 1.62 ആര് വരെയുള്ള ഭൂമിയ്ക്ക് നികുതി 20 രൂപയായിരുന്നത് 30 രൂപയായും വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
