ആദ്യ ആഴ്ചയിൽ തന്നെ കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് ശമ്പളം വിതരണം ചെയ്യാനുള്ള നടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചുവരികയാണെന്ന് ഗതാഗതവകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കെ. ബി. ഗണേഷ് കുമാർ സെക്രട്ടേറിയറ്റിൽ നടത്തിയ വാർത്താസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ഒരുമിച്ച് ശമ്പളം വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന മൂന്നാം മാസമാണിത്.   ക്രമേണ ഒന്നാം തീയതി തന്നെ ശമ്പളം വിതരണംചെയ്യുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ശക്തമായ  ഇടപെടലിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് ഒരുമിച്ച് ശമ്പളം വിതരണം ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നത്. ധനകാര്യവകുപ്പ് 50 കോടി രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ് ശമ്പളം വിതരണം ചെയ്തതെന്നും ഗണേഷ് കുമാർ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.സമയത്തിന് ശമ്പളം വിതരണം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് അറിവുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും കെഎസ്ആർടിസിയിൽ ശമ്പളം വൈകുന്നു എന്നാരോപിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം നടന്ന സമരം  ദാർഭാഗ്യകരമാണെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
