കോട്ടയം: കാലത്തിന്റെ വെല്ലുവിളികളെ നേരിടാൻ വരും തലമുറയെ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കുകയെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ്  ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്ത് സർക്കാർ മികച്ച സൗകര്യങ്ങളൊരുക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ-സാമൂഹ്യ നീതി വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ഡോ. ആർ. ബിന്ദു പറഞ്ഞു. തീക്കോയി ഗവൺമെന്റ് ടെക്‌നിക്കൽ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിന് 8.5 കോടി രൂപാ ചെലവിട്ടു നിർമിച്ച കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അവർ.  
 ആർട്ടിഫിഷ്യൽ  ഇന്റലിജൻസും റോബോട്ടിക് സയൻസും പോലെയുള്ള ശാസ്ത്രമേഖലകൾ മനുഷ്യ ജീവിതത്തിൽ വലിയ മാറ്റങ്ങളാണുണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. അതുപോലുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ പഠിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു ജനതയെന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള മുന്നേറ്റത്തിന് പുതുതലമുറയെ സഹായിക്കും. ദേശീയവും അന്തർദ്ദേശീയവുമായ തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങളിലേക്ക് കടന്നുചെല്ലാൻ കേരളത്തിലെ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് കഴിയുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റു വഴി സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ അനുവദിച്ച 7.5 കോടി രൂപയും അഡ്വ. സെബാസ്റ്റ്യൻ കുളത്തുങ്കൽ എം.എൽ.എയുടെ ആസ്തി വികസന ഫണ്ടിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരുകോടി രൂപയും ചെലവിട്ടാണ് പുതിയ കെട്ടിടം നിർമിച്ചത്. പൂഞ്ഞാർ നിയോജക മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ ഏക ടെക്നിക്കൽ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളായ തീക്കോയി ഗവൺമെന്റ് ടെക്‌നിക്കൽ ഹൈസ്‌കൂൾ നാലു പതിറ്റാണ്ടായി തീക്കോയി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ വാടക കെട്ടിടത്തിലാണ് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ട നഗരസഭയിൽ ആനിയിളപ്പിൽ വാങ്ങിയ 2.5 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലത്താണു സ്‌കൂൾ കെട്ടിടം നിർമിച്ചത്.
