പാലക്കാട്: ഉപതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് നടക്കുന്നതിനാല് നാളെ (നവംബര് 20) പാലക്കാട് നിയോജക മണ്ഡലത്തില് അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടര്. നിയോജക മണ്ഡലത്തിന്റെ പരിധിയിലുള്ള വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും സര്ക്കാര് ഓഫീസുകള്ക്കും പൊതു ഭരണ വകുപ്പ് അവധി ബാധകമാണെന്നാണ് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടര് ഡോ. എസ് ചിത്ര അറിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. നിയോജക മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ എല്ലാ സര്ക്കാര്, അര്ദ്ധസര്ക്കാര്, സ്വകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും, ബാങ്കുകള്ക്കും, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും, പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും നാളെ വേതനത്തോടുകൂടിയുള്ള അവധിയായിരിക്കും.
നാളെയാണ് പാലക്കാട് നിയമസഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തിലേക്കുള്ള ഉപതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്. അന്തിമ വോട്ടര് പട്ടിക പ്രകാരം ആകെ 1,94,706 വോട്ടര്മാരാണ് ഇത്തവണ വോട്ട് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്. ഇതില് 1,00,290 പേര് സ്ത്രീ വോട്ടര്മാരാണ്. 2306 പേര് 85 വയസ്സിനു മുകളില് പ്രായമുള്ളവരും 780 പേര് ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരും നാല് പേര് ട്രാന്സ്ജെന്ഡേഴ്സുമാണ്. 2445 കന്നിവോട്ടര്മാരും 229 പേര് പ്രവാസി വോട്ടര്മാരുമാണ്. രാവിലെ ഏഴ് മുതല് വൈകീട്ട് ആറ് മണി വരെയാണ് വോട്ടെടുപ്പ്. പുലര്ച്ചെ 5.30 ന് മോക് പോള് ആരംഭിക്കും.
